The role of electrical designer
Using mainly CAD programs, you draw electrical construction for low and medium voltage switchgear, transformers, relay, and control equipment as well as alarms and monitoring. You receive documentation from the sellers and project managers and contribute to quality assurance of the order to meet the customer’s expectations. Preparing construction documents that are approved by the customer before the start of production is part of the job.
You will also act as a technical support and have a close collaboration with other departments within Holtab, sales, business support, project manager and production. An important part of your role will be meeting the future needs of power transmission solutions. For example, smart grids, where you will help our sellers in customer relations and represent the company in technical matters.
The solutions that Holtabs electrical designers draw are assembled and installed in our own factories in Tingsryd, Lidhult and Olofström. Your office is connected to the production, which means that you get a unique insight into the entire process and can therefore see your work grow into a finished product.
Who are we looking for?
To enjoy and succeed in the role, we see that you have a post-secondary electrical education. If you also have experience in electrical construction within a production context, we see that as a great asset. But we are also curious about you who come straight from a relevant education.
We attach great importance to your personal qualities and are looking for someone who has a good ability to prioritize and manage parallel projects. As a person, you are cooperative and find it easy to communicate. You can communicate in English and have started to learn Swedish, which you are interested in learning further. In addition, you are interested in technology and keep up to date with the latest trends in your field.
